Mrs. Lynn G. Roper

Assistant Professor of Education

Special Education

Mrs. Roper serves as Assistant Professor of Education and teaches undergraduate courses in Special Education. She began teaching at Cedarville in 2010.  Prior to coming to Cedarville Mrs. Roper taught 14 years in the public middle school (special education) and five years at Asbury University.
She earned her B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Asbury College (1988), her MSW in Social Work from the University of Kentucky (2000), and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. Special Education program at the University of Kentucky anticipating completion by 2012.

I enjoy reading, watching U.K. basketball, exploring state and national parks, bicycling with my husband, and traveling any place I can. I have friends and family all over the world so I enjoy taking trips as often as time and money allow. I hope to be able to do more short term mission work once I finish my PhD.
