Today we\u2019re going to be talking about finals, and make sure you check out our post about <a href=\"https:\/\/ctl.cedarville.edu\/wp\/three-tips-for-checking-your-canvas-gradebook-before-submitting-final-grades\/\">reviewing your gradebook and submitting your grades<\/a> as you prepare to do that.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-5120677e-332f-4344-8a94-dfdf66a872b2\">Because of the unique challenges of this year, your finals may look different from the norm. Whether you\u2019re having your students write a final paper or take an exam, here\u2019s a few&nbsp;features&nbsp;to consider as you make your plans.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"block-8828ad3b-5321-42b4-bebf-b42d43acfda0\">1. Use&nbsp;Turnitin&nbsp;for written final projects&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-5c0531b6-72b2-4647-aa15-88fcd5fcdb63\">Turnitin&nbsp;integrates seamlessly into Canvas&nbsp;assignments&nbsp;\u2013 you&nbsp;only need to select \u201cTurnitin\u201d from the drop-down in the Plagiarism Review section of the settings page. Proctor your exams for students out of class&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"block-5d54948f-e876-41a5-b749-f5be26ae08df\">You may have a situation where you have some students in the classroom taking an exam while other students need to take the exam remotely. In those circumstances, you can&nbsp;set up the exam as a Canvas Quiz and work out a time with the student(s) to remotely proctor the exam via Teams. This is not a requirement&nbsp;in any way \u2013 it\u2019s an option that you can take advantage of if it\u2019s something you\u2019re interested in.
