Dr. Rob McDole and Jared Pyles ask Dr. Tracey Birdwell—a self-proclaimed “teaching nerd”— to help pinpoint a true definition for active learning. Dr. Birdwell is the Assistant Director for Faculty Support in the Center for Instructional Excellence at Purdue University.
