One of these changes that we’ll be talking about has already been implemented, but the other two have yet to be released.   Course link sidebar displays name of current link  The first change Canvas has made is already present in your courses. Previously, if you wanted to change a link that you’d already added to the Rich Content Editor, it was faster to just remove the link entirely and create a new link.     Canvas Updates: Inbox Improvements and Scheduling Page Publishing 

    Reading Time: 3 minutes Canvas is updating two different areas across the coming months. On October 15, you’ll also be able to specify dates and times to publish pages. And later this year, you’ll see some minor changes to the Canvas inbox. Schedule Page Publish Dates/Times  Canvas is also adding a “publish at” setting for pages. When you use this setting, students will not be able to see publish-delayed pages until the set publish date and time.   To set a date/time, go to a Canvas page.     Canvas Feature: Microsoft Immersive Reader

    Reading Time: 3 minutes We’ve talked a lot about the Canvas/Microsoft partnership and how more Microsoft products and features are being incorporated into Canvas. Today, we’re revisiting one of those features – the Microsoft Immersive Reader.   The Microsoft Immersive Reader is now available through more of Canvas. Initially only released on Canvas pages, it’s now also available on the syllabus, assignments, and a course’s home page.
